Dr. Zhang Yan, China Director at QS Intelligence Unit, visited GTIIT last week.

To have a full picture of GTIIT, Dr. Zhang Yan had a close interaction with directors from GTIIT Chancellor Office, Admissions Office, Student Affairs and News & Public Affairs. Dr. Zhang Yan also had an in-depth discussion with directors on issues like development planning and goals, student cultivation and innovation. During the discussion, Dr. Zhang Yan, with complete confidence in the future of GTIIT, not only introduced the category and evaluation index system of QS World University Rankings, but also put forward targeted suggestions.

Based in London, U.K., QS Intelligence Unit is a multinational corporation devoted to enhancing the development of global education. Since 2010, QS World University Rankings has been recognized by IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, an institution promoted by UNESCO. Today, QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Academic Ranking of World Universities and US News Best Global Universities are the most internationally recognizable and representative university rankings in the world.

The seventh annual QS World University Rankings revealed in March. 2017, shows that among the best universities in 46 disciplines, 560 disciplines from 74 universities in Chinese Mainland were listed in the rankings.
