Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chinese Teacher to join our team. As a Chinese Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students of all ages and proficiency levels. Your primary goal will be to foster a love for the Mandarin language and culture while helping students develop their language skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the needs of individual students.

·         Teach Mandarin language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.

·         Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters cultural understanding.

·         Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.

·         Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and promote cross-cultural understanding.

·         Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and resources to enhance the learning experience.

·         Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or provide updates on student progress.

·         Organize and participate in cultural activities and events to immerse students in the Mandarin language and culture.

Position Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in Education, Mandarin, or a related field.

·         Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

·         Proven experience teaching Mandarin to students of various ages and proficiency levels.

·         Strong knowledge of Mandarin language and culture.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.

·         Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
