Position Description                                                                      

The ERP Technical Lead is tasked with being the primary focal point within the GTIIT for the design, development and implementation of technical portions of ERP solution for the organization.  

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                     

· Define the GTIIT ERP strategy for supporting the need of GTIIT in the establishment phase as well as for fifteen years ahead.

· Responsible for performing the initial planning and design of ERP strategy.

· Write and formulize software design documents, such as RFI/RFQ.

· Work closely with both internal stake holders and external teams to guarantee continuous information flow.

· Work as an integral player in a team that depends on each and every one working together in a short delivery cycle.

· Document all technical processes, requirements, flows and diagrams.

· Write reports, documents ad present analysis, project status, risks and issues.

Required Job Specifications                                                                

· Required qualification: B.Sc. or M.Sc.(preferred) in Computer Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical discipline

· Required experience: 5+ year of experience as a ERP project leader facilitating mainstream ERP software solutions based on SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft platforms; 10+ years of proven working experience as an ERP implementer for a large-scale enterprise; experience with outsourcing/co-sourcing/managed services with IT services providers

Required Job Competencies                                                                

· Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, writing and reading) are mandatory

· Ability to architect ERP solutions that align the organization IT strategy

· Strong project management skills

· Fundamental SDLC and ERP project management experience and full technical knowledge of all phases of project development or in the modification efforts of new or ERP existing software

· Available to work outside working hours.

· Willing to work "hands on" with the rest of the team.
