Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent will assist in providing a complete finance service to the whole school, addressing all issues of a finance nature and providing all relevant information to meet external demands. These services may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: budget setting, reporting and control, income management, financial reporting to external bodies, annual accounts preparation, debt management.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

· Review the legality, validity and accuracy of original invoices/receipts, and other relevant attachments for reimbursement according to Chinese university accounting principle and other relevant finance regulations;

· Correct, process and reconcile all account balances;

· Record accounting journal entries;

· Manage accounts payable and relevant contracts;

· Assist other departments with relevant affairs.

Required Job Specifications                                                                

· Required qualification: undergraduate degree or above in Finance or Accounting or a related field preferably with oeverseas experience or experience in higher education institutes.

· Required experience: preferably 1 year or more in similar capacity

Required Job Competencies                                                                 

· Communication skills (English & Chinese): Fluent English and Chinese (esp. speaking and writing)

· MS Office skills in statistics gathering, report preparing, word processing, presentation etc.
