Position Description

The incumbent will be responsible for filming and photography, video processing, topic designing, running new media, etc. especially develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract public and promote the school brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

·Film and take photos of events at GTIIT;

·Process videos and edit images to achieve desired publicity outcome of certain events;

·Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around GTIIT;

·Organize and archive photos and videos;

·Help with the daily operation of new media platforms, including WeChat account and Website;

·Help with office translation and complete other tasks assigned by superiors. 

Position Requirements

·Education: bachelor or above, preferably in relevant fields

·Work experience: minimum 1 year or above in similar capacity, preferably in photography and filming

Required Job Competencies

·Required proficiency in operating cameras and other relevant instruments;

·Required proficiency in processing soft wares, e.g. Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Video Studio, etc.

·Good writing and verbal skills: both in Chinese and English

·Sensitivity to news, experiences in writing and selecting topics

·Good photography skills and aesthetic judgement

·Team spirits, able to cooperate with others

·Creative thinking: high

·Resistance to pressure
