Dear GTIIT staff and students,

The 2nd “My Story with GTIIT” Speech Contest will be held in order to further enrich the cultural life on campus, fully demonstrate the diligent, pioneering and innovative spirit of GTIIT staff and students as well as enhance the sense of responsibility and belonging. Please see the implementation plan as follows.

I. Theme

Contestants can choose any one of the following five topics as the theme of their speech.

(i) The most impressive lesson

(ii) Have I grown up yet?

(iii) Views change the world

(iv) Embracing Challenges

(v) To be a better man

II.Format

The event will be conducted in the form of speech. Contestants will share their memorable stories, based on what they have experienced. The speech shall be given in English.

IV. Competition schedule

(i) Preliminary selection: 20th October 2022

(ii)The final round:

Time: 26th October , 2022 19:00-21:00

Venue:GTIIT Auditorium

V. Requirements

All staff and students are invited to participate in the competition.The Contestants should prepare their speeches in English with content closely related to the theme.The topic of the speech is self-designed and the genre is not limited. The speech should be controlled within 2000 words in 8-10 minutes. Contestants must submit their speeches to the University Office in hard copy and electronic version before 18rd October.
