Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent belongs to electronic and mechanical workshop. He/She is expected to design and build the workshop, provide service for internal and external customers in related fields.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                     

· Responsible for customer requirement analysis and workshop design, including equipment selection, layout design, technician recruitment;

· Provide mechanical design service for internal and external customers, including drawing design, cost estimation, project planning, etc.;

· Assist with mechanical competence building, such as studying new techniques, providing training for new staff and supplier development;

· Responsible for project management and supplier management;

· Supervise mechanical technician for machine work;

· Provide technical support for other departments in mechanical and electrical wise;

· Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.

Required Job Specifications                                                                

· Required qualification: bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.

· Required work experience: at least 8 years’ experience of mechanical and electronic design, 5 years’ experience of R&D project management.

Required Job Competencies                                                                

· English Ability: CET4 or above and fluent oral communication;

· Able to use 2D and 3D CAD design;

· Understand the operation of CNC latch, miller, 3D printer and so on;

· Has the skill of using mechanical hand set tools;

· Understand the function of electronic component and design the electronic and mechanical interface;

· Understand thermal and hydrodynamics simulation;

· Good connection with quality machine shop supplier and material supplier;

· Project planning and management skill;

· Good relationship with industry partner and organization.
