Duties and Responsibilities

Cultivate GTIIT’s wealth of knowledge and assist in disseminating sustainable, high-impact technologies:

·       Identify commercially viable research results, manage registration as intellectual property and commercialize by linking with industry.

·       Identify industry related collaboration opportunities, funding programs, accreditations and honors and assist faculty in applying for them.

·       Operate GTIIT technology incubator/accelerator, mainly bringing early-stage startups to investment readiness.

·       Organize workshops, seminars and conferences for industry and relevant organizations and government offices, on GTIIT scientific portfolio; Organize and deliver workshops, seminars and conferences on entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and innovation.

Required Job Specifications

·       Work Experience: 3-5 years experience with entrepreneurship/incubation activity; demonstrate the ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with startups, entrepreneurs, mentors, universities, research institutions, industry experts, associations, local & provincial government, funding agencies and startup investment community.

·       Education: Master or PhD degree from a reputationable university; scientific or engineering degree.

·       Language Ability: Fluent in English and Chinese.

·       Advantages: International work environment or living overseas; Experience in an academic or research institution; Experience in founding or working in a startup; Experience in a venture capital or private equity fund.
