Position Description                                                                                               

Youhua Jiang's research group (https://www.thejianggroup.com/) focuses on interface phenomena,which includes solid mechanics,  fluid mechanics,  phase change heat transfer,  physical chemistry,  and surface engineering. The research group is devoted to studying the mechanism of the effect of solid surface properties on droplet dynamics. This position is for scientific research support. Under the guidance of Prof.Jiang, it's to assists other group members to complete scientific research tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

• Technical support: Build the experimental platform;Under the guidance of Prof. Jiang, to help the group members to carry out experiments ;

• Logistics support : Be responsible for liaison with units/departments inside and outside the campus, participating in instrument purchase, maintenance, and management;

• Administration: Make equipment user guide, instrument, and consumable statistics; assist Prof. Jiang to manage the laboratory, etc.

• Other duties assigned by the PI

Required Job Specifications                                                                

• Education background: Engineering (physics, mechanics, thermal and power engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering preferred), master's degree (above) is preferred

• Work experience: For lab manager, master's degree or above and three years of relevant experience, or a doctor's degree are required.

Required Job Competencies                                                                

• With CET-4 and CET-6 qualification certificate, good English reading and writing ability;

• Hard-working and careful;

• Have a strong sense of teamwork and assistance.
