Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing marketing, promotional and communication activates to attract high quality students to apply for GTIIT. S/he will be part of the recruitment and admissions team to create and maintain professional internal and external presence, including establishing and maintaining relationships with high schools, supporting education fairs and organizing lectures, workshops, and summer/winter camps, open house and other events, producing collaterals and creating relevant online campaigns and communities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

· Establish and maintain relationships with high schools and relevant organizations by high school visiting, phones and education fairs, etc.

· Develop a full and appropriate strategic plan of events and online and offline activities supported by marketing materials;

· Coordinate events and represent the University on recruiting events;

· Design and produce various kinds of marketing or promotional materials;

· Provide data analysis and feedback to improve recruitment;

· Manage prospective applicants’ inquiries and communicate regularly with prospective applicants;

· Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.


Required Job Specifications                                                                 

· Required qualification / academic degree: Master degree, preferably in marketing or related business subjects.

· Required experience: Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in marketing, admissions and recruitment or related area.


Required Job Competencies                                                                

· Language ability: Fluent English and Chinese (Putonghua)

· Excellent relationship management skills and interpersonal skills to target high schools and applicants;

· Skills in developing written/printed promotional materials targeted at different users;

· Excellent time, project management, negotiation and communication skills;

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills;

· Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks;

· Experience of using social media and other software relevant for marketing and recruitment activities;

· Experience of working across departmental boundaries to ensure collaborative and coordinated approach.
