Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent will be assigned for drawing up, editing and pushing the development plans, the annual work plan and summary, and the various special plannings of GTIIT. S/he will be responsible for coordinating and following up the work related to discipline construction, sorting out and analyzing relevant information and data of the university, collecting and following up the policies, laws, regulations and other normative documents concerning higher education and university work.

 

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

· Draw up medium and long-term development plans of the university; edit and compile annual work plan and summary of the university based on the work plans and summaries submitted by different departments; push and press the various special plannings and other development plannings of the university.

· Coordinate and follow up the work related to the construction of key disciplines of “High-Level Universities”; collect, compile, and translate relevant documents related to key discipline construction plannings, follow up on the government’s evaluation policies and criteria for key disciplines construction; periodically check the progress, and prepare for the evaluation and inspection.

· Collect, sort out, and analyze relevant information and data of the university; responsible for the preparation of basic education statistics report and basic database construction of higher education; see to the statistics and analysis of the university career development and university evaluation.

· Collect and sort out the policies, laws, regulations and other normative documents concerning higher education and university work, and follow up new developments in the reform of higher education system and mechanism. Serve the academic development of the university.

· The incumbent will be instructed and will report to the Vice Chancellor and will support other work arrangements coordinated by the Chancellor Office.


Required Job Specifications                                                                

· Required qualification / academic degree: Master degree from an internationally recognized university or above, with bachelor or master degree in natural science is preferable.

· Required experience: 3-5 years, relevant working experience in higher education institutes.


Required Job Competencies                                                                

· Strong ability of comprehensive analysis and logical thinking;

· Excellent communication, organizing and coordinating skills;

· Fluent user of Microsoft Office Softwares, such as PowerPoint and Excel.
