Mohammad received his three degrees, B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Mohammad’s MSc studies were conducted under the co-supervision of Prof. Alex Lishansky, a theoretical fluid mechanics specialist, and Prof. Hossam Haick, who heads the group of Nano Materials based Devices in the Technion. During his MSc studies, Mohammad used both theory and experiment to analyze a problem that involved the deposition of nanoparticles from a moving drop and subject to Marangoni flows. His Ph.D. was supervised by Assoc.Prof. Ofer Manor, where he investigated the Dynamic wetting and de-wetting during the evaporation of volatile thin films of polymeric solutions and binary solvent mixtures. During his academic career, he published a number of scientific papers in top journals in colloids and interfaces science and participated in several international conferences.

During his master and Ph.D., Mohammad tutored several graduate/undergraduate courses in the Chemical Engineering department, Principles of chemical engineering 1m, Separation Processes, Particulate systems. Additionally, he supervised number of undergraduate students during their final projects in his group's lab.

Mohammad was awarded the Neubauer Family scholarship. This is a prestigious and competitive scholarship, which is awarded to just several Ph.D. students in the Technion.
