Tzipora Rakedzon is the adjunct teacher at GTIIT. 

Tzipora was born in New Jersey in the USA and immigrated to Israel in 1993. Tzipora received her B.A. and M.A. in linguistics from Haifa University, and her Ph.D. in science communication from the Department of Education in Technology and Science at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Tzipora has been teaching a variety of English writing and communication courses for over 20 years. Specifically, she has been teaching at the Technion since 2002, where she serves as the coordinator and a lecturer of Graduate Academic Writing in the Department of Humanities and Arts. As well, Tzipora oversees the new writing center which is about to open at the Technion.

In addition to teaching, Tzipora’s research interests include teaching and assessing scientific and professional communication, especially writing and vocabulary. Her work includes the De-jargonizer, a free online program aimed at helping scientists and engineers assess vocabulary use in order to adapt texts for a variety of audiences.
