In this talk, Enxin Wu will explain some basics of diffeology, a relatively new field unifying smooth manifolds, infinite-dimensional and singular spaces. Enxin Wu will focus on the vector space aspect of the theory, and introduce its homological algebra. Finally, some open questions will be discussed.
Biography
Enxin Wu got his Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, in 2012. He is currently an associate professor at Shantou University. He works on the fields of diffeology and algebraic topology.
