Dr. Rina Arad Yellin is the manager of the Organic Chemistry lab and establisher of the two new labs in General Chemistry and Fundamentals of Chemistry.

Until recently Dr. Arad Yellin was the senior chemist in Semorex-Technologies Ltd. Israel and Semorex Inc. Fanwood, New Jersey USA.  Currently she is a senior chemist and partner in BeatSep Ltd. a start-up Company in Jerusalem, Israel.

Until joining Semorex, Rina was a senior research associate in the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot Israel, where she worked for more than 30 years.

Dr. Arad Yellin's  research interests focus in diverse areas, among which are synthesis and study of imprinted polymers, synthesis of drugs for cancer and sepsis and development of methods for diagnosis of fungi in clinical samples.

Rina has spent 4 years in the USA, working in the research centers of Du Pont de Nemours Co. (Wilmington, Delaware), Bell Laboratories (Murray Hills, New Jersey) and Hoffman La Roche (Nutley, NJ).

Dr. Rina Arad Yellin expertise is in organic and polymer chemistries, photochemistry, analytical and medicinal chemistries.

She has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers, she is a co-owner of 5 patents and presented lectures and abstracts in many scientific conferences.
