Position Description
The incumbent needs to ensure that all human resources operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. He/She will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop institute plans for a variety of HR matters, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc.
· Act to support the human factor in the university by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development, faculty absorption, etc.
· Draft HR policies and regulations including department management, recruitment, salary and benefits, personnel file management, faculty absorption, etc.
· Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
· Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
· Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with different government sectors.
· Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
· Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
Required Job Specifications
· Required qualification: Bachelor degree, preferably Master or MBA degree
· Required experience:
- Proven experience in HR field with minimum of 5-year leadership experience;
- HR management and university academic management experience, strongly preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of the labor law and school system fiscal regulations, policies and procedures, preferred.
