Position Description
The Community Assistant will support the Manager of Community Management Office in providing a friendly community life to residents on campus.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to Community Management Office: Assist the community manager in dealing with daily administration issues to ensure the effective operation of the Community Management Office.
• Assist the community manager in Community Event Management:
1) Assist the community manager in planning various types of community events, to liaise with the vendors and related departments to ensure the successful execution of the events;
2) Manage the unexpected problems and emergency in the event execution;
3) Update the changes of event/trip schedule or budget when it occurs and report to the community manager;
4) Reimburse all the related expense and ensure all the expense are correctly charged into appropriate community budget;
5) Assist in organizing and planning trips for the community, coordinate with the local tour agency and arrange the hotel and transportation;
• Assist in the community relocation to South Campus: Assist the community manager in establishing the community life in South Campus.
• Customer Service: Deal with a range of community life queries from the residents, find solutions to the varied problems which enquirers may bring. Establish an effective channel to communicate with residents.
• Health and Wellbeing: Assist the community manager in fostering a living environment that is supportive and productive for the community.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the superior.
Required Job Specifications
• Required qualification: bachelor degree or above from an internationally recognized university. Major in hospitality management is preferred.
• Required work experience: preferably 1-2 years’ work experience in customer service.

• Multi-task skills;
• Good Microsoft Office skills;
• Good interpersonal skill to work in an international, cross-cultural work environment.
