Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent will be responsible for chemical storage facility, including receiving and distributing chemicals and consumables, managing MSDS documents, assisting in the registration of controlled chemicals.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                     

· Manage good receipts and maintain required safety stocks.

· Manage and update inbound or outbound records.

· Raise PR according to inventory consumption.

· Responsible for lab waste and expired chemicals disposal.

· Account inventory regularly.

· Assist EHS and Purchasing Department in registering controlled chemicals.

Required Job Specifications                                                                

· Required qualification: university degree in chemical/biological related fields or chemical engineering, practical chemistry, biotechnology, biological engineering, etc.

· Work experience: knowledge and experience in chemicals and laboratory equipment – advantage; work experience in a computerized warehouse – advantage.

Required Job Competencies                                                                

· Language ability: knowledge and good oral communication skills in English and the ability to read technical English;

· Knowledge of toxic and hazardous materials regulations- advantage;

· High ability to provide service and teamwork.
