Position Description                                                                      

The incumbent will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support for all the programs at GTIIT. He/she needs to help minimize faculty time devoted to administrative duties so that they can concentrate on academic and research endeavors.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

·       Assist all GTIIT faculty with purchasing tasks;

·       Help GTIIT faculty to draft job description of research assistant, teaching assistant, technicians and others;

·       Coordinate with deputy program heads and provide necessary administrative supports to GTIIT faculty.

Required Job Specifications                                                                

·       Required qualification: bachelor degree or above from an internationally recognized university; major in biology, chemistry or any other related field is preferred.

·       Required work experience: preferably 1-4 years’ work experience. Experience in higher education institutions will be an advantage.

·       Proficient in English and Chinese;

·       Good Microsoft Office skills;

·       Good interpersonal skill to work in an international, cross-cultural work environment;
