Amit Ashkenazi is a dedicated educator and researcher with a strong background in mechanical engineering. He holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, graduating with honors. His primary field of study is soft tissue biomechanics, with a particular focus on the characterization of muscle tissue. His passion lies in exploring human-machine interfaces and the mechanical coupling between the two, a topic that continues to inspire his research endeavors.
Amit has extensive teaching experience with both native and non-native undergraduate and graduate students. He has taught a range of courses, from foundational subjects such as solid mechanics, engineering drawing, and dynamics, to advanced graduate-level topics like finite element analysis.
Beyond academia, Amit has applied his expertise in high-tech industries, contributing to the development of innovative 3D-printed aluminum parts for cutting-edge technology systems.
