A knowledge contest of the Party's history was held by the Student Affairs Department of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), to enable students to have a deeper understanding of the Communist Party of China.
The representatives from 12 Youth League branches of the Class of 2024 of GTIIT participated in this activity. The contest was divided into four parts: "Quick Answer", "Answer Questions with Clues", "Act and Guess" and "Talk about the Picture". Electronic answering devices and scoring boards were equipped for each group and prizes were set to stimulate students' enthusiasm.
"Act and Guess" was the most exciting part. The game was combined with historical terms, with two people making gestures and two guessing the word accordingly. The best team were selected based on the number of correct answers. Many participants had outstanding performances in this session. Zhang Yutao achieved excellent results in interpreting words and said that through this activity, he learned a lot of historical figures and events, as well as knowledge of the Party's history.
Yuan Huikang stood out in the section of "Answer Questions with Clues". As soon as the first clue appeared, he pressed the buzzer and gave the correct answer immediately. His familiarity with the great events of the Party won cheers and applause.
The participants spoke highly of the activity. "I will come again if there is such an event next time!""I didn't expect that it can be that interesting!"
"The participants in this contest perform actively and enthusiastically. They can learn about Party-related knowledge and be edified in thought. It's great to see the students get into the game and win honor as a team," said Ms. Zhong Lin, a Student Advisor of Cohort 2020.
Fan Yangfan, a student from the Class of 2024 said that he learned about the process of the Party's preparation, establishment and development through the event. "The spirit of the Party inspires young people to better take the responsibility of contributing to our country."
