Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) announced today that it has extended an invitation to Chinese students currently pursuing doctoral and master's degrees at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to conduct research that has been interrupted by the Iran-Israel conflict. The university also welcomes alumni who have pursued postgraduate studies at other Israeli universities to return to their alma mater to conduct scientific research. This move aims to alleviate the impact of the Iran-Israel conflict on Chinese students and demonstrate the social responsibility of GTIIT as a Sino-foreign cooperative university.
It is understood that since the outbreak of the Iran-Israel conflict on June 13, with the assistance of the Chinese Embassy in Israel, many Chinese students, including those studying at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, have been returning to their motherland one after another.
As the China campus of Technion, GTIIT is a Sino-foreign cooperative university in science and engineering. The university has built an international high-level teaching team and world-class teaching and research facilities. It can provide students with full academic support, help them seamlessly connect with Technion's academic research, and allow them to continue their studies in the motherland until the situation returns to normal.
