The whole event was well organized and had many great performances. Music, dance, drama and other acts came together on this wonderful evening.

The party opened with guitar playing. The song "Mountain Sea" fired up the crowd first, followed by the street dance "Hip Hop Whale" with its fast beat and energy. Next, the choir performed "Happy Nadam" and "Lightning", building a festive feeling through layered voices. The folk music club's instrumental "Chile Song" added a different flavor with its unique sound and rhythm. Chinese dance "Su Gong Di" brought a style shift through delicate emotional expression and stage beauty.

Drama, comedy and mimicry acts were also highlights. The play "Hamlet" squeezed unexpected laughs from its classic story. Comedy "Adoption Day" used everyday situations and subtle humor to connect with the audience. "The Art of Acting 2" got the crowd involved through tight stage management.

The anime club's cosplay fashion show presented diverse aesthetics with confident steps. Music and dance throughout acted as a main thread: from "Zenzenzense" and "Red Lotus", to "Time Travel" and original piece "Ballade", then to "Super Big Jazz & Hip Hop" and "Candy", and finally to "Never gonna give you up" and "Tek it", pushing the evening's joy and excitement forward layer by layer.

This year's party featured more complete visual design and atmosphere. The wishing tree and "Our 2025" video gave audiences interactive experiences. Plus, the party used the auditorium's full lighting system for the first time, adding a more diverse range of light and shadow effects.

A successful party needs everyone's effort. Performers created a wonderful night with high-quality shows while staff provided support in scheduling, stage transitions, and audience services. The applause and cheers were the best response to all their hard work.

Now, at this fresh starting point, the creativity and sense of participation that GT Night has built will continue to be part of campus life. In the new year, we look forward to more students shining on stage!

Interview

Performer: Xia En

I thought a four-hour event would leave me exhausted, but every time I saw the staff still buzzing with energy in the dark, coordinating with everyone, and the glow sticks in the audience endlessly swaying to the music, I felt this surge of exhilaration inside. Each time I stepped onto the stage, as the lights and fog machines kicked into gear and I exchanged glances with friends around me, it felt just as thrilling as my very first performance!

Performer: Meng Meixian

The king's wolf-like greed for power, Ophelia's sacrifice to palace plots, Hamlet's painful struggle with love and hate... "The Story of Hamlet" not only gave me a deeper understanding of Shakespeare, but also gave me my first theater experience, and showed me my friends' unlimited potential. With more courage to try, explore, and learn, we will surely have a bigger stage in the future!

Performer: Zhang Yiming

Science and engineering students tend to approach most things with excessive rationality. That's precisely why we hope to introduce more flexible, joyful formats into this academic environment. Everyone's sense of humor is different—some jokes are straightforwardly funny, some require careful savoring and elaborate delivery, while others make you burst into laughter instantly. In our program The Art of Acting, we aim to blend these different comedic styles together, injecting more dynamic elements into our academic studies.

Performer: Chen Shuhong

"This is my third time joining this event at GTIIT. These stages have witnessed my technical growth and accumulated experience. As a senior, I cherish every performance opportunity, so even during the busy application season, I strive to bring wonderful performances to everyone. Music can be said to be one of the key themes of my college life."

GTIIT Student Association: Guo Hongqiong

I'm happy to have helped plan GT Night for two years in a row. Compared to last year, this year's event had many improvements, like unified visual design and new lighting effects.

However, we must also be candid: the excessive transition time between acts at this year's party became our greatest regret. As the organizers, we bear undeniable responsibility for this. Special thanks to every student who took the stage—your brilliant performances upheld the quality of the entire evening and kept the stage shining. Our deepest gratitude goes to all audience members who stayed until the very end; your presence and applause are our greatest motivation moving forward.

Following the party, we have initiated a comprehensive review process, aiming to prevent such issues and optimize the experience in future events, ensuring students can truly enjoy themselves.

Finally, our most sincere thanks once again to the hardworking staff behind the scenes, the performing students who gave their passionate best, and every audience who was willing to attend, to wait, and to cheer. Next time, we will do better, and we look forward to your continued support for all Student Association activities.
