Recently, the higher education professional evaluation institution Shanghai Ranking released the "2026 Best Chinese Universities Ranking". Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) appeared on the list for the first time, ranking 7th among Sino-foreign cooperative universities and 138th nationally among over 1,000 participating universities.

As a young university founded just ten years ago, GTIIT's ranking debut reflects its outstanding talent cultivation quality: over 80% of graduates pursue further studies, with over 90% admitted to the world's top 100 universities. The admission rate to the world's top 10 has exceeded 40% for two consecutive years, and nearly 60% have entered research-oriented master's and doctoral programs. Several core indicators put GTIIT among the more competitive Sino-foreign cooperative universities.

Even during the enrollment downturn when Sino-foreign cooperative education cooled and the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, the students recruited at that time delivered advanced study outcomes comparable to—or in some aspects better than—previous cohorts. This proves GTIIT's strong "value-added" capability to elevate every student to a higher platform.
