After two weeks of military training, over two hundred GTIIT Cohort 2018 undergraduate students gave a fabulous performance at the closing ceremony on October 6th.

It was my great honor to join the National Flag Group during the military training. Although the training was not easy, we had the courage and determination to face all challenges. Spending the 14 days with my dear friends was really enjoyable and unforgettable.

I think this is the most collective activity I've done since I entered GTIIT. Our company was totally awesome! On National Day, we watched the Military Parade at the Auditorium. We stood up and sang the national anthem together when the national flag was raised. I was really moved.

We benefited a lot from GTIIT's military training. Firstly, it taught us self-discipline. Honestly, it's very difficult to keep the same stance for a long time. Secondly, we learnt new things, such as Military Boxing and Qindi Boxing. There is no doubt that there were many challenges during our training, but we tried our best to overcome them. I think everyone has learned something useful from this special training.

Hardship and fatigue are always synonymous with military training. The same is true at GTIIT. During the 14-day military training, we experienced blistering sunshine. Luckily, we learned not only to be more patient and persistent, but we also gained friendship among classmates and instructors. I really benefited a lot from it.
