Welcome to New Semester

PostTime:3/2/2021

GTIIT Spring Semester begins from March 1 with spring coming in the Southern part of China.

GTIITers have engaged themselves into studying on the first day of the new semester. Hong Yuxiang, a student from Biotechnology and Food Engineering program arrived at the classroom 15 minutes before class to grab a good seat. He expected to get a higher GPA and dig deep into the field that he wanted to study in the future in the new semester.

As the Winter Vacation coming to end, it's time to work hard now! Feng Shiyu, who chose to stay on the campus during the holiday, was studying at the Student Hub. She reviewed courses such as Microstructure Characterization during the vacation. For the new semester, she said that she would actively take part in scientific research projects to make preparation for the graduation thesis, work hard for the IELTS and the GRE, and participate in English language review courses organized by GTIIT as well. "I will strive to achieve goals step by step and become a better me."

Yuan Chunlin and Lao Ziqing, majoring in Chemical Engineering program, went back to the university earlier to read literature and conduct data processing and analysis for thesis phased report. "We hope to find out the deficiencies of our experiment by learning from others and try to improve our hypotheses." Yuan Yue, who has received a PhD admission letter in Materials Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, was reviewing Chemical Engineering Lab 1 course to prepare for the teaching assistant works this semester. "I will do a literature review and consolidate knowledge at the same time in order to better adapt to the life as a postgraduate student. I will also work hard to get a driver's license when I graduate this summer."

More GTIITers went to the gym when evening fell. Year 3 student Bin Xin, who started her workout recently noted that, it’s essential to balance my study and life. I feel good to sweat out after dancing with friends for 30 minutes every day. "I will go on dancing and try to keep on long-distance running in order to lose the 5 kilograms I gained some time ago," said Li Zheng, who is an expert in workout with smile.

Dear GTIITers, work hard to chase your dreams!
