"The development of the Technion in fields of information technology, nanotechnology and life sciences is highly recognized worldwide. As a young university, GTIIT has made great achievements since 2017 with the gene of innovation and entrepreneurship," said Zhou Shou, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry and Information Technology of Tianhe, Guangzhou. He added "there are high-tech enterprises gathering in Tianhe District, and the institutions have outstanding academic advantages. we look forward to taking today's activity as an opportunity to further develop talent matching, strengthen university-industry-research cooperation, and solve key technical problems of enterprises".

Dr. Liao Xuequan, Director of Student Affairs and Admissions Office of GTIIT, introduced the history, programs, faculty team, teaching features, and university-industry cooperation models of the university. Dr. Victor Huang, Manager of Research Innovation and Graduate Studies, shared the layout of scientific research and cooperation between the university and industry. 

Participants showed great interest in GTIIT. "When will the Mathematics with Computer Science program students graduate? We urgently need talents in this area", "We hope we that GTIIT students can work in our company after graduation and we can set up models like joint training program for them", "Our company is industry-leading in the field of sealant in global, and we look forward to the in-depth cooperation in the field of chemistry and materials. This will bring our company to the next level", "We provide supporting policies for students who want to initiate innovation and entrepreneurship projects in Tianhe District"......Representatives of enterprises further discussed topics such as joint training of talents, establishment of internship bases, technical needs, and the application of advances in science and technology. They reached a consensus on further exploring school-enterprise cooperation to better serve the local economy and achieve win-win results.
