Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education institution in China to introduce high-quality Israeli higher educational resources and has independent legal status. GTIIT is also the only Sino-foreign joint university focusing on science and technology. GTIIT's achievements have attracted much attention.
By marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel, the national media, China Education Daily and China Education News Web, published the feature report titled “Pursue Technological Innovation with 100% Commitment” in today's newspaper. The article is also published on the Xuexi Qiangguo platform.
The report points out that GTIIT has focused on creating a “research-oriented university” and has regarded innovation as its lifeblood since its establishment. GTIIT serves as a research platform for talents and resources, contributing to sci-tech development of various fields in the society.
GTIIT will take innovation as core competency to boost the development of scientific research. In the future, GTIIT will seize the opportunity of scientific revolution and industrial transformation, and cultivate more international technological talents. We aim to further enhance the innovation level and competitiveness of Guangdong Province and even the whole country, and to contribute to the national development and people's wellbeing.
