“We have arrived!” said the GTIIT graduate students, including 11 master students and 5 doctoral students, who have arrived Technion to carry on postgraduate studies after a 4000-mile flight across the land.

To encourage more students to pursue scientific research, GTIIT waives tuition fees for graduate students and offers generous scholarships, but these are not the only reasons for the students to come here. What they value are the global cooperative network and cutting-edge research power of the university.

“GTIIT has developed astonishingly quickly, with the labs and the equipment reaching world-class level," Zeng Yi, one of the PhD students shared his comment. He chose the GTIIT graduate program, aiming at doing influential research project under the guide of his supervisor.

Being allowed to enter the research team at their undergraduate stage, GTIIT students are all equipped with research ability, winning them high recognition from the world's top universities. Until today, 84 students from the Class of 2018 have received 206 offers of postgraduate courses from 62 overseas universities, among which the number of students enrolling in research-oriented education rose to over 50%.

“The teachers here are actually researchers, and are transferring their abilities as researchers to the students,” said Prof. David Gershoni, Vice Chancellor of GTIIT. He pointed out that GTIIT is practicing innovative education, and is committed to turning the advantage of high-level scientific research into the advantage of talent cultivation.
