Come and join the GTIIT Mascot Idea Contest!
On the occasion of celebrating the "sixth birthday" of GTIIT and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel, we would like to invite all GTIIT students, alumni and faculty who have wonderful ideas and inspiration to participate in this contest. It may become the most precious gift to GTIIT; it may appear in every corner of the campus; it may also accompany and witness the growth of every GTIIT student in the future.
Activity Introduction This contest is organized by the Guandong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. All students, faculty and alumni are invited to join the contest and submit their ideas (in written form) of GTIIT mascot design, which will be selected and rated. Excellent works will be awarded. Work Collection Period April 7, 2022 - May 7,2022 Prize 1st Prize (Quota:1): 1500 RMB 2nd Prize (Quota: 2): 1000 RMB 3rd Prize (Quota: 3): 500 RMB Special Prize (Quota: 3): 200 RMB Notice: 1) All prize amounts are pre-tax; 2) All prize winners will receive the commemorative certificate issued by the contest organizer and have the opportunity to receive the mascot product as a gift in the future. 3) Every participant will receive a commemorative gift offered by the GTIIT Education Foundation. 4) The final result of this contest will be released by the GTIIT mascot organizer during the award ceremony hosted at the Auditorium on May 30, and excellent contestants will be awarded. Requirements and Elements of the Design 1) The designed mascot shall carry a profound message and show the features and traditions of the two campuses/regions. The contestant shall clearly illustrate the design philosophy of his/her mascot and the message it carries; 2) The mascot must be a figurative object with a sense of beauty, carrying a positive and healthy vibe. It shall have a good visual effect and shall be propagable; 3) Contestants are only required to submit the textual description of their ideas. Pictures may be used for the assistance of description. A final product is not required. Submission and Deadline 1) The contestant needs to fill in his/her personal information and submit the textual description of his/her design idea (can be Chinese or English) in the format of a pdf file by scanning the QR code or clicking the link. Depending on the contestant, some pictures may be attached to the file to further elaborate the idea of the mascot. Note that no real name can appear in the submitted file. Please submit your idea along with your basic information according to the requirements. Attention for Contestants 1) The submitted idea must be original and has not been published or used in any form before. Contestants shall not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party. Shall the contestant copy, unauthorizedly borrow or violate any lawful rights of others, the contestant shall bear all consequences. 2) This contest is to collect ideas of any designs and the organizer will not guarantee the application of any ideas. The right of final selection belongs to GTIIT. 3) If the selected idea can be utilized in the design of the mascot and eventually the final product is completed, GTIIT will claim the IP right and the right to use the product. 4) The right of final interpretation belongs to GTIIT.
