GTIIT acceptance letter is flying to your houses.

The set of VI designs of GTIIT has shown its position – rationality, steadiness, innovation and vitality.

The acceptance letters are official permits to study in GTIIT. Then, what is the origin of its design? We interviewed Zhangyi, a teacher from Cheung Kong School of Art & Design, STU.

“Series designs are systematic and consistent. Generally speaking, we need a set of memorable visual designs to distinguish institutes from each other. One can tell the branding position of GTIIT right from its badge: both the rationality & steadiness traditionally followed by science and technology and vitality and innovation bred by the era. We follow the style in our recent designs for GTIIT,” said Zhangyi.

The design for GTIIT acceptance letters is of no exception. The framework of the letter looks like a picture frame made of standard color blocks, while the elegant background consists of gradient color blocks, the architectural drawing and an anti-fake shading sealed as “GTIIT”. For the main body, it lays on the middle of the page, formal and solemn.

Zhangyi pointed out, the design for acceptance letter was really important. For freshmen, acceptance letters are the permits, the first impression upon universities and a lifelong-valued gift. More significantly, it is the image of a university. Some said that many acceptance letters are too solemn, traditional and even out-of-date. Our research proved this hypothesis. How to combine solemnness to vitality becomes one of our goals for the acceptance letters. After discussing on a few drafts, we decided on the final version of the acceptance letters and printed them out.”

Besides an acceptance letter, there are a SIM card, a debit card, a notice for freshman and a form for survey on students' family economic conditions.
