The freshmen of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) worked together to complete a giant painting, which is 17 meters in length and 10 meters in width, with their creativity for the coming 20th National Congress of the CPC.

The giant painting consists of 16 pieces with various GTIIT features, such as the outline of the Visitor and Innovation Center, the Teaching Building and the Laboratory Building, as well as the patterns of experimental instruments and physical formulas. The elements of science and engineering are perfectly combined with the art of painting, which vividly presents the expectation of a festive atmosphere.

With the brushes in hands, students worked together to finish the painting, showing the innovation of STEM students and the vitality of youth. Based on the world development trajectory, science and technology frontier as well as national situation, we shoulder the mission of self-reliance and self-improvement. As future scientists and engineers, GTIIT students are committed to contribute to national development and social progress.

The process of painting and coloring required great cooperation between team members. Students divided the work orderly, some mixed colours and filled the blanks, while others matched the pictures.

About 300 people, with 16 pieces of pictures, in 2 hours, the students worked together to complete the challenge from the prototype to artifact. All the works were combined to a gaint painting, with the conspicuous characters "20th National Congress of the CPC, forge ahead on the new journey" on it, expressing students' best wishes to the Party and our country.

By immersive participation, the freshmen could better adapt to the university life and make more friends in the creation of the giant painting, as well as keep in mind the mission of the young generation of studying hard and living up to the youth at campus.

GTIIT students will cherish time to work hard in innovation and contribute their wisdom and youth to basic academic disciplines for the flourishing future.
