Math Odyssey

On the Open Day, a mini math camp designed by teachers from MCS and physics programs, namely "Math Odyssey", will come out for high school students. The participants may form a team of 4 and play games to earn the final awards.

It is based on calculations, estimates, measurements, etc., with no advance preparation required. Hopefully you will enjoy the game, give full play to teamwork, and bravely overcome challenges.

11:00-15:00 Lab tour

Advanced teaching/research laboratories will be open to students and parents, and laboratory staff will explain on site.

10:30-17:30 North and south campuses visit

The participants may visit the student dormitory, gym and other facilities to sense the pleasant environment.

二、Participation

Offline participation

Please scan the above QR code before 23:59 on January 31 to register for Open Day. Registration for mini math camp will be closed at 23:59 on January 26. It is open to senior high school students and parents, with priority given to senior science/physics students and their parents. Please note that we will send a message to confirm the registration.

How to join in Mini Math Camp？

Scan the QR code above and tick "Join Math Camp" in the registration form. There are two ways for team formation.

- Team up by yourself

Students can form their own team. Please fill in the contacts of the team leader in the registration form. We will contact the team leader and invite all members to join the group.

-Team up by the organizer

The organizer will form a team and students may choose whether to be a team leader. We will contact the team leader and invite all members to join the group.

The number of participants is 100, and a maximum of 25 teams will be formed. Please note applicants will be notified by SMS.

Watch live streaming

On February 3, the Campus Open Day will be on live on Weixin Channels of GTIIT Admissions Office, to walk you through sessions of Chancellor Speech, Students’sharing, Face-to-face chat on major, etc.
