GTIIT Biotechnology and Food Engineering Program
Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT, est. 2016) strives to become a world-class research-intensive science and engineering-based university. Biotechnology and Food Engineering (BFE) at GTIIT is one of the four key disciplines under the Guangdong High-level University Construction plan. The young GTIIT-BFE Program aims for the same teaching and research excellence of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology BFE faculty (in Haifa, Israel), the only one of its kind in Israel, which has provided highly skilled engineers and scientists to the expanding biotechnology and food industries since 1953.
Our vision is to serve as a national high level and internationally recognized Chinese center for BFE teaching and research for the benefit of China and the advancement of science and human well-being. The GTIIT-BFE Program offers a unique integration of food engineering-technology with biotechnology and life sciences, and develops technological understanding with hands-on-experience for undergraduates. Our program interdisciplinary, unique, innovative, and effective in serving the local biotechnology and food industries.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to GTIIT !
