Today, government representatives and businessmen from Chenghai District, Shantou, visited GTIIT to enhance exchanges and strike out cooperation between GTIIT and local governments.

Eliezer Shalev, Executive Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT; and Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs of GTIIT interacted with the visiting group.

Prof. Xu Haiyun, Assistant to Pro-Vice Chancellor, hosted the panel discussion, during which the manager from GTIIT Research, Innovation & Graduate Studies fully introduced the current research and scientists in GTIIT. Both parties had a heated discussion upon industry-university-research cooperation. Leaders and businessmen from Chenghai District warmly invited research scientists from GTIIT to visit Chenghai and take part in industrial activities.

Zhou Zhongzheng, Deputy District Chief of Chenghai District, said that relevant government departments will continue to provide good services for cooperation between GTIIT research scientists and local enterprises, thereby tangible cooperation will be achieved with win-win results.
