On December 6th, the 5th Start-Up Challenge at Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), organized by GTIIT Youth Committee, co-organized by GTIIT Association of Commercial Entrepreneur (ACE) and guided by Sunyard Youth Innovation Hub, officially kicked off.
Over the three-day competition, students from GTIIT, Shenzhen University, Shantou University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, came together to delve into cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics, agriculture and food technology, biomedicine and health, new energy, new materials, energy conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable development. It's a great opportunity to cultivate fresh ideas and open possibilities for innovation.
In the tightly scheduled competition, each team will present their business plans to the audience and judges through multiple stages, including presentations, project roadshows, and Q&A sessions. They will explain the creative concepts, social value, application prospects, and development potential of their projects.
Beyond the competition, this year's event also offers participants a wealth of valuable content. GTIIT professors, corporate mentors, and other experts will share their entrepreneurial experiences, reveal the secrets of writing business plans, and interpret the opportunities and challenges in technology innovation through a series of lectures. This will further ignite the entrepreneurial passion of the students.
Since its inception in 2020, the GTIIT Start-Up Challenge has gradually become a cornerstone for students' innovation and entrepreneurship. It provides a solid foundation for students to grasp industry trends, identify market opportunities, and cultivate business thinking. Under the guidance of academic and industry mentors, participating students have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with experienced professors and entrepreneurs, learn entrepreneurial skills, refine and perfect their business plans, and enhance the innovation and competitiveness of their projects.
On the 7th and 8th, the preliminary and final rounds will take place in succession. Let's look forward to the outstanding performance of the participants this year!
