About GCII

The China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) is the first innovation demonstration park jointly built by the Chinese and Israeli governments. In 2023, GTIIT and CICP signed an agreement to establish the GCII. It focuses on cutting-edge fields like intelligent manufacturing, new energy, healthcare, and synthetic biology for research cooperation and project incubation.

Since its launch, the Institute has made steady progress. Phase I facilities have been successfully operationalized, providing high-quality physical space for the implementation of research projects and the incubation of startups. The expansion of Phase II space has also been scheduled. Till now, it has established multiple seed projects and nurtured several startup initiatives, including wireless medical endoscopy, complex fluid simulation CAE software, high-value polyols from biomass, anaerobic ammonium oxidation wastewater treatment, and synthetic-biology-based melatonin production.
