From April 25 to 27, the 21st Nan'ao Science Conference, on the topic of Efficient CO? Conversion, hosted by Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Shantou Municipal Government, and organized by the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Fund Committee and Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), was held on Nan'ao Island in Shantou.

The conference was co-chaired by Prof. Zhang Suojiang from Henan University, Prof. Zhang Xiangping from China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and Prof. He Xuezhong from GTIIT. Over the three-day conference, top domestic experts focused on "carbon neutrality.", exploring cutting-edge technologies and innovative paths in this field through three topics - carbon capture, carbon conversion, and in-situ replenishment and conversion.
