August 3rd,
GTIIT campus welcomed
a new wave of faces
—the Cohort of 2025!
It means GTIIT has entered a new phase of
"quality-driven expansion",
with total enrollment
surpassing 2,000 students
for the first time.
Despite the pouring rain,
orientation proceeded smoothly
amid warm atmosphere.
Beneath colorful umbrellas lay
not just shelter, but excitement
and the promise of a fresh start.
First Glimpse of GT
The photo wall buzzed with energy—
"That pose is perfect!"
"Let’s get one more shot!"
New students brimmed with curiosity,
while parents smiled with pride.
With every camera flash,
the first GT memory was made.
Volunteers walked across campus,
guiding newcomers from pickup to dorm,
hauling luggage,
giving directions, answering questions—
passing down GT’s legacy of help.

Overnight, a lengthy canopy was built,
creating a covered pathway for arrivals.
At the one-stop help desks,
staff instantly resolved all concerns.
Even amid storms,
move-in day ran like clockwork.
At registration,
freshmen solemnly wrote down their names,
received the supply packages,
envisioning years of growth here.
In their dorm rooms,
they found neat beds
and spacious desks—
it’s time to check in
their four-year home.
By lunchtime,
the canteen drew eager lines,
while the Chaoshan
culture-and-cuisine bazaar
attracted visitors from across the nation.
That afternoon,
a heartfelt parent-university
dialogue unfolded.
GTIIT Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Eli Aljadeff,
and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Lin Danming,
alongside academic
and administration leaders,
discussed curricula, career paths, etc.
forging a partnership for student success.
