Lila Leung, General Manager of ISS-ULink Educational Services, Ltd., He Mengsheng, General Manager of ULink Education Group, Guangzhou, and Qiu Qiang, General Manager of Huiheng Education Ltd., Shenzhen, visited GTIIT on May 22nd.

To conduct an on-the-spot investigation upon establishing an international school in GTIIT North Campus, the group was shown around GTIIT and STU, accompanied by Lin Yimin, Vice-mayor of Shantou, Hu Dong, director of Education Bureau of Shantou, Yigal Cohen, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director General, and Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

Currently, over 90% of GTIIT faculty are non-Chinese. Shantou Government and GTIIT will accelerate the establishment of international school to provide high quality teaching resources for the children of foreign faculty who work in shantou. It will create favorable conditions for the recruitment of talents and follow-up development of GTIIT.
