Recently, the Youth League Committee of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) organized the General Meeting of the 2025 Freshmen League branch on the south campus. Counselors and peer mentors organized a highly engaging activity for students from 11 freshmen League branches, fostering a strong sense of belonging.

In the fall of 2025, 11 freshmen League branches were officially established. During the meeting, the students collectively watched the thematic videos on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, strengthening their faith and clarifying the responsibilities of the young generation.

"I want to build a platform where everyone can shine!" In the campaign for League branch leadership positions, over 30 candidates delivered passionate speeches and shared innovative ideas for branch development. Breaking away from the traditional "single interview" model, the election concluded with a democratic vote by branch members, ultimately selecting 22 students as the 2025 League branch leaders.

Through branch activities, GTIIT students strengthened their cohesion. For instance, during the fluorescent night run, they sweated on campus tracks and formed new friendships. In thematic film screenings, they drew inspiration from role models. During the collaborative canvas painting activity, they worked together to sketch campus scenes. Moving forward, the branches will continue to organize diverse activities tailored to program interests and students' needs, such as volunteer services and cultural and sports competitions, to make a warm harbor for freshmen's growth and dreams.

This activity not only laid a solid foundation for the construction of the freshmen League branches but also united youthful energy and ignited their passion for progress. May the Cohort 2025 students run tirelessly on the track of youth and write a remarkable chapter for the new era.
