A delegation of American Technion Society(ATS) visited GTIIT recently. During their visit, they have a panel with GTIIT student representatives.
Let's know more about it.

Reasons to choose GTIIT
Students choose GTIIT due to different reasons.
Knowing that GTIIT introduces English immersion teaching model, Yuan Yue, who wants to go abroad for further studying in the future, made up her mind to choose GTIIT in 2017. " It's a good chance for us to improve our English. GTIIT is an important stage to improve ourselves,"she said. "I was extremely curious about the micro world from high school. When I digged into GTIIT, I found that it has the program that I want to study," He Hanglin said. Zhang Yisheng, who comes from Shenzhen, knew about GTIIT when it was constructed in 2015. He chose GTIIT mainly due to the high quality education systerm from Israel. "What attracts me the most is that there is no need to go abroad for international education resources. All the students have the opportunity to study at the Technion, it's really amazing," Wu Xin said.

To learn how to ask questions
At the Technion, it is very important to think critically and to ask questions.
When students enter GTIIT, the first thing they need to learn is to ask questions. All professors try their best to encourage students to ask questions during the class-"If no one asks questions, I won't continue." "If you ask questions, you may be fool for one minute, but if you don't, you will be fool for a long time." GTIIT students gradually realize that asking questions not only makes you explicit, but also helps others. After one year, they got used to this learning style and knew more about "Chutzpah".

Wonderful life at GTIIT
University studies can be very stressful but smart. GTIIT students have various activities and wonderful social life. Aiming at improving English skills, the student started an English Club and organized a Dubbing contest. With the purpose of adapting to life at Technion more easily, they try to learn Hebrew in spare time. They participate in basketball training and meet excellent friends. They also organize volunteer activities to serve the society.

After this visit, many guest spoke highly of the rapid establishement and development of GTIIT. Mr. Scott Leemaster, Chairman of ATS National Board of Directors and a member of Technion's Board of Governors, said that Technion alumni from all over the world pay great attention to GTIIT. "For many ATS members, it's their first time to visit GTIIT. Such experience will definitely enhance the further understanding of GTIIT. I talked with some students these days, I think they are very excellent," he said.
"GTIIT is very beautiful and new. Surrounded by mountains, it makes me feel pleasant. I think this is a wonderful place for study," said Terry Gardner, National Board member of ATS. He has seen many Israeli Jews at GTIIT and felt very happy that they live very comfortable here.
