On 21^st - 22^nd March, Prof. Daoud Bshouti visited the True Light Girls' College and the Sacred Heart Canossian College and gave scientific lectures to over 300 Secondary Five students at these two schools.

The True Light Girls' College and the Sacred Heart Canossian College, which rank in the top 50, are also among the Band One secondary schools in Hong Kong. Both schools have produced many notable alumnae among the years. 

Professor Daoud Bshouty is Professor of Mathematics at both GTIIT and the Technion. He served as Vice Dean of the Mathematics Department for Teaching for five years and from 2011 for two years as Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Technion. His lecture topic was “Mathematics in the Eyes of the Beholder”. He believed that educators, students and parents see the learning of mathematics in school from different perspectives and that most students do not see the need of mathematics in their life. He discussed the importance of mathematics in the eyes of the students using real life examples and experiments that resonated with the student audiences.

At Sacred Heart Canossian College, Cherry Sun and Stephanie Chu, two students who participated in the GTIIT Winter Camp 2019, also shared their unique experiences at GTIIT with their fellows.

Lastly, Ms. Zeng Miao from Admissions Office introduced the admission requirements and scholarships of GTIIT, in addition to the school features and highlights.
