Sandy Liao (Structural Engineer at WSP-OPUS New Zealand)
Mr. Sandy Liao advised students to organize their time and get prepared for the start of the journey. "If you wanna do it well in university, you can only have less time and less freedom. This is because, in general, the content of the course work is broader and more difficult compared to what we have learned in high school, and your pace of university life will become faster. When you enter university, you are living more independently as well. You need to solve the problems by yourselves, which can take a lot of time. Especially, combined this with the teaching method at GTIIT, you may realize you have less time. Therefore, it is very important to develop strategies for managing your time."
Dr. Lawrence Liao, Director of Student Affairs thanked the enthusiastic speakers for joining the meeting in his closing remarks, and encouraged new students to stay inquisitive.
