For two days between November 2nd to 3rd, the 4th Guangzhou International Innovation Festival (GIIF), organized by the People's Government of Guangzhou Tianhe District, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, was successfully held in Guangzhou Library.
At the invitation of Dr. Yossi Vardi (Technion Alumni), honorary Chairman of the Innovation Festival, a five member delegation of GTIIT led by Professor Sima Yaron, the head of the Program of Biotechnology and Food Engineering attended the festival, GTIIT representatives participated multiple activities throughout the event, including: Guangzhou Science and Technology Forum and Agricultural Artificial Intelligence Summit, Vardi Reception Room, "New Collection" innovative product show, innovative road show and others.
Since its inception in 2016, GIIF has been dedicated to building bridges connecting enterprises, venture capital institutions, research institutes, carriers and innovative talents, and promoting the organic integration of innovation elements. It has become the top exchange for Guangzhou's technological innovation and development display and cooperation platform.
The theme of this year's Guangzhou International Innovation Festival focuses on artificial intelligence, 5G and other fields. In the two-day span of the festival, 33 keynote speeches and forums, as well as the Finals of the Guangzhou T-Hero International Innovation and Startup Competition were successfully staged. Ten academicians of the "two houses" and experts, scholars, investors, and representatives of start-ups from China, Israel, the United States, Japan and other countries presented a unique feast of innovation.
