General

GTIIT Sport Unit is looking for physical education instructors for the next academic year starting at the mid of October 2022.

The positions will be part of a new and dynamic team with the objective of establishing, developing and advancing a wide range of sports activities in the university.

PE part time positions:

1. Basketball Instructor

2. Fitness & Athletics Instructor

3. Tennis Instructor

4. Badminton Instructor (including other coaching tasks of Badminton)

5. Martial Arts Instructor

6. Ping Pong Instructor

Job Description

1. Open at least 2 classes per semester (2 hours/week per hours per week).

2. Coaching the clubs (relevant for Badminton only) (4 additional hours a week + competitions when required)

3. Up to 30 students/class depending on the sport discipline, as determined by the Sport Unit supervisors

4. Supervise, follow-up and keep report of student performance attending his/her classes.

5. Supervise attendance, perform exams and grade students according to GTIIT academic rules as determined by the Sport Unit supervisors.

6. Provide written reports according to Sport Department needs as required by the Sport Department supervisors.

7. Assure maximum safety of the students and the sport equipment under his/hers care.  

8. Follow GTIIT Sport Unit rules of conduct towards the students, fellow PE Instructors and supervisors.  

9. Help in the organization of University sport events as required by the Sport unit supervisors

10. Referee in sport events. 

11. Attend Sport Department meetings as requested by Sport Department supervisors.

12. Any other duties that may be necessary, related to his/hers duties as a PE Instructor according to the Sport unit needs as determined by the Sport unit supervisors.

Job Requirements

1.Proven teaching (coaching when relevant) experience in the respective sport discipline.

2.Basic English communication skills
