Position Description
The incumbent needs to ensure that all human resources operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. He/She will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop institute plans for a variety of HR matters, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc.
Act to support the human factor in the university by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development, faculty absorption, etc.
Draft HR policies and regulations, including department management, recruitment, salary and benefits, personnel file management, faculty absorption, etc.
Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with different government sectors.
Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
Required Job Specifications
Required qualification: Bachelor degree, preferably Master or MBA degree
Required experience
Proven experience in HR field with minimum of 5-year leadership experience;
HR management and university academic management experience, strongly preferred;
Extensive knowledge of the labor law and school system fiscal regulations, policies and procedures, preferred.
Required Job Competencies
Fluent English communication skills, especially writing and speaking
Negotiation skills: high
