Associate Prof. Marcelo CIAPPINA is looking for a motivated and competent part-time Research Assistant to assist in the preparation of funding applications and the search of potential collaborators in mainland China. The project/research proposals are focused on the interaction of strong coherent electromagnetic radiation with matter: atoms, molecules and solids, and related areas.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    

1. Assist with funding applications

2. Search collaborators in mainland China and coordinate the potential joint proposals applications (both in English and Chinese)

3. Conduct the interpretation and translation of materials related with the project/research proposals

4. Other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required Job Specifications                                                                

Required qualification / academic degree: BSc or above in Physics/ Science

Required Job Competencies                                                                

1. Good knowledge of spoken and written English as well as communication skills

2. Basic knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to learn new software
