Position Description:

Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) is a state-of-the-art research university (http://www.gtiit.edu.cn/en)  located in Shantou, China.

The university is currently looking for a full-time XPS lab manager to support the research in GTIIT. The position is in GTIIT for a period of at least three years. Excellent salary and employment conditions will be provided to the selected candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Operate and maintain the XPS equipment

·       Provide training in fundamental and advanced XPS techniques for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers

·       Provide XPS services and support to research groups, teaching labs, multidisciplinary research programs and industry             

Required Job Specifications:

·       Required qualification / academic degree: Ph.D. (chemical physics)

·       Required experience: Expertise and knowledge in XPS and UPS technologies, along with relevant research experience

Required Job Competencies:     

·       Language ability: Fluent in English

·       Ability of solving technical problems and self-learning

·       A good team worker (essential)
