Position Description:

We are seeking a full-time, highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Lab Manager to join our research team at GTIIT. The Lab Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory, handling administrative and financial tasks, and providing research support when necessary. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects in synthetic biology and sustainable biomanufacturing while collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other lab members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Participate in synthetic biology research projects under the supervision of the PI

·       Assist PI in proposal writing and technical report preparation

·       Laboratory administration and management 

·       Purchasing and reimbursement

·       Team Coordination and Communication

Required Job Specifications:

·       Experience in an academic or research environment, particularly within a life sciences or bioengineering laboratory

·       Possess the willingness and ability to conduct experiments, while demonstrating strong teamwork and a sense of responsibility

·       Possess strong communication skills, including proficiency in English speaking and writing

·       Background in Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related biological disciplines

·       Priority will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree

Required Job Competencies:     

·       Language ability: English (Fluent in speaking and writting)

·       Knowledge and experience in life science
